Practice a sample workflow

Restaurant roots. Questions every owner recognizes.

What changed today? Are the records complete? What should the manager check next? This fictional restaurant example shows the reporting pattern. A service business would use its own measures, such as completed jobs, labor hours, or outstanding work.

How the calculations work

Sales change = (current net sales − comparison net sales) ÷ comparison net sales × 100. Average ticket = current net sales ÷ completed tickets. Gross wage percentage = gross wages ÷ current net sales × 100. A percentage-point gap is wage percentage minus the example target. Missing inputs produce “Unavailable,” never zero.

About this demonstration This is an interactive, sample-data prototype by James Parris. Calculations run in your browser; scenario guidance is prewritten. It does not call a live AI model or connect to a business system. Inputs and review state reset when the page reloads.

A real pilot would use owner-approved records, secure access, source-linked AI drafting and human review. Its value would be measured against the existing process, including time spent checking and correcting the output.
