ABOUT SMB SENTINEL

A bridge between AI tools and everyday work.

Together, James Parris and Peter John Fox bring more than 35 years of combined business ownership experience. We pair that practical perspective with hands-on AI training and technical implementation to help your team use AI confidently in everyday work.

PARTNER · BUSINESS STRATEGY & AI IMPLEMENTATION

James Parris

James brings operations leadership and process improvement experience to AI training and implementation. His restaurant and hospitality background spans team management, labor planning, purchasing, and day-to-day operational decisions.

He works with clients to understand their workflows, identify useful starting points, and guide owners and staff through setup and hands-on practice. The focus is helping people understand and use the tools effectively in their own roles.

PARTNER · TECHNOLOGY & SYSTEMS

Peter John Fox

Peter John focuses on the systems, integrations, and technical infrastructure behind SMB Sentinel’s work. His role connects the requirements of a business workflow with practical technical delivery.

Working alongside James, he helps configure and test the systems behind each setup, supports deeper implementation when needed, and contributes to clear documentation and a practical handoff.

What you can expect.

We start with a task that matters to you, use tools suited to the work, and teach your team how to manage the result. Sometimes that is a guided setup session. Sometimes it requires a custom workflow. We explain the difference before you commit.

Your business retains ownership of its accounts and documentation. We establish appropriate access, human review, and clear procedures so your team can manage the setup with confidence.

  • Business strategy and technical delivery working together.
  • Hands-on practice using an agreed task.
  • Clear procedures and approval responsibilities.
  • Written scope before paid work begins.

02 / WHAT WE’RE BUILDING ON

Built for the work
behind the business.

Our internal projects start with familiar problems: keeping up with daily reports and getting a useful answer without typing everything out.

REPORTS → DECISIONS

See what needs
your attention.

DOM · Digital Operations Manager

Developed around restaurant operations, DOM helps with the recurring reports, documents, and follow-ups that land on an owner’s desk.

  • Review business reports and changes.
  • Flag missing information before a decision.
  • Prepare drafts, recurring reports, and reminders.
The connection to your business

Sales, staffing, supplier details, unfinished work: start with the information you already check, then agree on what should be brought to your attention.

Try the owner-reporting example

Interactive sample data, not a live DOM report.

SPOKEN NOTES → A STARTING POINT

Talk through the task.
Keep the conversation.

Omarchy Voice · Voice-first AI workspace

A Windows app for speaking to an AI assistant, hearing the response, and returning to the conversation. Built for times when explaining is easier than typing.

  • Microphone input and speech transcription.
  • Text input and spoken replies.
  • Saved conversations you can revisit.
A use case to test together

Speak through rough job notes at your desk and ask for a draft customer update or a checklist. Check the result before your team uses it.

Discuss voice in your workflow

A desktop voice assistant for individual and team workflows.

These internal development projects illustrate our approach. Client implementations are assessed and tested individually.
